Nkoranza District CHRAJ receives 82 cases from April to June

Nkoranza (B/A), July 15, GNA- The Nkoranza District Office of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) received 82 complaints from April to June this year as against 64 cases from January to March.

Miss Joyce Nyamadie, District Director, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that women lodged 61 out of the cases while men lodged the remaining 21.

She said education forums CHRAJ conducted encouraged the people of Nkoranza to lodge complaints with the Commission.

She appealed to the District Assembly to lobby for a Magistrate to solely handle cases at the District Magistrate Court.

She explained that the present Magistrate handles cases at other courts and this affect the smooth delivery of justice in the area.
