Nkawie Secondary/Technical record 100 per cent success at SSSCE

Nkawie (Ash), Dec 09, GNA – The Nkawie Secondary/Technical School, one of the developing schools in the Atwima District, recorded a 100 per cent pass in the 2004 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE).

Mr Prince Joseph Aguri-Amanfo, the headmaster of the school, who released a summary of the results to the Ghana News Agency at said 111 students had eight passes, 55 had seven passes and 32 had six passes representing 90.4 per cent.

He said 113 students obtained between aggregate eight and 24 representing 51.6 per cent and explained that with this performance, a lot of the students qualified to further their studies in the tertiary institutions.

Mr Aguri-Amanfo commended the teaching staff of the school for their dedication and commitment.
