Nkawie chief calls for completion of Agricultural Show Project

Nkawie (Ash), Sept 19, GNA – Nana Twum Barima Appau 111, Nkawie-Kumahene, has appealed to the government to make use of 120 hectares of land earmarked for the National Agricultural Show project.

Nana Barima Appau told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that he released the land for the project to create jobs for the youth in his traditional area.

He said only two buildings have been put on the land and called for the completion of the project.

Nana Barima Appau appealed to the government to give concession to FABI Timber firm in the Atwima that has employed 700 workers.

He said if the Fabi Timbers is denied the concession the workers will be laid off.
