Nine persons have lost their lives with two others seriously injured after a tricycle with registration M-AS-69-16 and a tipper truck with registration number AS-5124-15 collided at Esutifi South in the Brong Ahafo region.
The accident occurred on the Twebide-Dadieso Aba road in the late hours of Tuesday afternoon.
The tricycle according to reports gathered by Nyankonton Mu Nsem crashed into the tipper truck in an attempt to cross a sharp curve on the road.
Eight of the passengers on board the tricycle died on spot while the one out of the two surviving victims died at the Esutifi government hospital.
The surviving victim Nana Agyemang Opambour who reported the accident to Nyankonton Mu Nsem, is a four year old baby on admission at the Gooso Government hospital.
