Nii Kotei Dzani calls on Ada Chiefs to be united

The Founder and President of Groupe Ideal, Dr Nii Kotei Dzani has called on traditional leaders and the people of Ada to remain united, and champion the development agenda of the Ada Traditional area.

Dr Dzani, also a pound indigene of Ada said, traditional leaders and individuals both home and abroad must strive to make Ada a preferred tourist destination in Ghana.

Speaking at the 80th-anniversary launch of the Ada Asafotufiami, the celebrated entrepreneur said his major medal he’s yet to achieve is to put Ada on global tourist destination map.

This he said can only be achieved through peace and unity among the indigenes. Dr Dzani and also a member of the Council of State, as part of his commitment to Ada announced GHC 300,000 as seed fund for the construction of the ultra-modern palace for the Paramount Chief of the Ada Traditional Area, Nene Abram Kabu Akuaku.

The Asafotufiami festival is celebrated in the first week of August every year. It is celebrated in remembrance of the achievements of settlements by the ancestors of Ada during wars.

This year’s celebration will mark the 80th milestone of the festival, and will be on the theme; “Peace and Unity as a tool for the Socio–economic Transformation of Ada.

The 2017 Asafutufiami festival celebration is under the auspices of the Ada Traditional Council in conjunction with Groupe Ideal.
