Nigerians arrested in Takoradi

Takoradi, Feb. 2, GNA – The Takoradi Central Police Station on Tuesday arrested 27 Nigerians who are in the country illegally to undergo vocationa= l training.

Chief Inspector Olivia Adiku, Western Regional Police Public Relations Officer, told the GNA that the group, being hosted at the Melody Hotel in Takoradi, was undergoing training at the National Vocational and Training Institute in Takoradi. Chief Inspector Adiku said the group assaulted and kidnapped their coordinator (name withheld) over living conditions which led to their arrest.
