Nigeria president-elect arrives for visit

Accra, May 22, GNA – Nigeria’s president-elect, Alhaji Musa Yar’Adua arrived in Accra on Tuesday for a day’s visit during which he will hold talks with President John Agyekum Kufuor.

Alhaji Yar’Adua’s meeting with President Kufuor would be in his capacity as the current chairman of the African Union.

He was met on arrival by government officials.

President Kufuor is expected to attend the investiture of Alhaji Yar’Adua in Abuja, Nigeria, next week.
