Nhyieso electrification gets 20 million cedis support

Obuasi, Dec 11, GNA – Nana Asirifi Asare II, chief of Adomanu and Krontihene of Edubiase Divisional Area, has called on chiefs to use part of their revenue from the sale of building plots to support the development of their communities. Nana Asirifi Asare, who is the Presiding Member of the Obuasi Municipal Assembly, said this when he presented 20 million cedis to the people of Nhyieso near Obuasi in support of their electrification project.

Nhyieso is among the few communities in the Obuasi municipality that has no electricity. Nana Asirifi Asare said the assembly was doing its best to ensure that the community was connected to the national grid. He said the extension of electricity to the area would boost small-scale businesses and appealed to the people to use the money to buy low-tension poles. Mr Joseph Ndah, the assemblyman for the area, commended the chief for the donation and said the donation was the first of its kind in the electoral area. community project.
