Nhyaeso MP Presents water equipment

Kumasi, Sept 26, GNA – Dr Richard W. Anane, the Member of Parliament for the Nhyaeso, has presented some water equipment valued at 10 million cedis to the Apramang community. The equipment is made up of a 1,500 gallons capacity poly water tank, electric water pumping machine and some 20 bags of cement. Donation followed a request made by the chiefs and people of Apramang to the MP for an electric pumping machine to be mounted on boreholes they had dug through their own initiative and a water tank to serve as a reservoir.

Dr Anane, the Minister of Road Transport, said the water equipment was purchased through his share of the MP’S Common Fund.

He said a greater proportion of his Common Fund had been injected into providing scholarships for 64 students of his constituency to pursue their education at the senior secondary school level. The MP said apart from providing scholarships, he planned using part of his Common Fund and his share of the GETFUND for rehabilitation and expansion works on basic schools with a greater focus on providing a junior secondary school for Apramang.

Nana Adjoa Ampomah, Queenmother of Apramang who received the water equipment, commended the MP for being development-oriented and the practical concern he had shown for development of Apramang.
