The Orphan Care-Foundation, an Accra based non-governmental organisation (NGO), has visited St. Anna’s Family Home at Winneba, as part of its activities to celebrate this year’s May Day.

The NGO fed the orphans and presented them with rice, sugar, flour, beverages, milk, cooking oil, soap, detergents, second-hand clothing and footwear, all worth Ghc3,000.

The children were also entertained with music provided by Africa Youth Choir from Winneba.

Mr Kofi Gyan Dom, President and Founder of the NGO, and Miss Beatrice Awotwi Pratt, Director and co-founder, jointly made the donation.

Mr Dom said the NGO was compelled to support the Home because of the plight of the inmates.
