Kenyasi (B/A), June 11. GNA- Foundation for Action and Development, a social club at Kenyasi Number One in the Asutifi district of Brong Ahafo on Monday held a clean-up exercise in the town.
Mr. P.K. Boakye, Chairman of the club told the Ghana News Agency that the club was formed to complement the efforts of the Asutifi District Assembly in developing the community.
During the four-hour exercise members reconstructed damaged drains, removed waste, mainly plastic products and desilted choked gutters. He said the club spent 725,000 cedis while the District Assembly donated some bags of cement for the exercise.
