NGO donates materials to clinic

Buoyem (B/A), March 14, GNA – Stitching Ghana Netherlands, an NGO, has donated assorted items worth more than seven million cedis to the community clinic at Buoyem in Techiman Municipality.

Madam Geke Leistra, an official of the NGO, presented the items that included drugs, surgical products and non-drug consumables to Madam Augustina Abugri, nursing officer in charge of the clinic. Nana Akombo Dwamena, Chief of Buoyem, thanked the donors and called on other benevolent organizations, NGOs and well-to-do people to assist the clinic.

Madam Abugri later told Ghana News Agency that the NGO had made several donations to the clinic, including standard hospital beds. The donors had also constructed a mechanized borehole and a guest house as well as five water closet toilets at the clinic.
