NGO donates books to schools in Gonjaland

Bole (N/R), Aug 6, GNA- A Non-Governmental Organisation NGO in the United States, “Educate Africa Totally” (EAT), has donated books worth more than six million cedis to some schools in the Bole, West Gonja and East Gonja districts in the Northern Region.

Mr Issifu Sulemana, President of the National Association of Gonjaland who presented the books on behalf of the NGO at separate functions, said the organisation sought to develop education through financial assistance to schools.

”Educate Africa Totally will therefore continue to support education development to facilitate teaching and learning in deprived communities”, he said.

Mr Sam Akati Mahama, Bole District Chief Executive, advised people in the area to make education their priority since “it is the bedrock for development”.
