NFED workshop on MIS opens at Sekondi

Sekondi, Jan 24, GNA – A six-day training workshop on Management Information System (MIS) for 124 supervisors of the Non-Formal Education Division (NFED) opened at Sekondi on Monday.

The participants were drawn from all the 13 di stricts of the Western Region.

Speaking at the workshop Mr Frank Kofi Menka, the Western Regional Director of the NFED, said the workshop was to sharpen the skills of the participants in record keeping and management of information. He asked the participants to provide accurate data on time to enable management of the NFED to make good decisions.

Mr Menka said it was important that supervisors provide accurate information on facilitators, classes and logistics because they are frontline staff.
