New Website For B/A

A new website to be known as brongahafotoday.com, would from next week commence operations to put the Brong-Ahafo Region on the global map. This would be the third website for the region after brongahafo-today.com and brongahafonews.com, could not stand the test of time.

Brongahafotoday.com is operated by Image Multimedia Group(IMG) with its headquarters in Sunyani and has seasoned journalists ready to bring out stories from the region which has become strategic to the nation in many ways.

The Chief Executive Officer of IMG, Mr Francis Appiah, told reporters in Sunayni that the website shall through its reportage put the Brong-Ahafo region in the mind of strategic investors so as to draw in the needed economic, social and tourist activities, which would eventually enhance the living standards of the people in the region.

Though management of IMG would not name the team to run the show at brongahfotoday.com, it is believed that the online editor would be one of the region’s finest news editors with over ten years experience in journalism. There are other top class journalists including two ladies lined up for duty.

He added that with the construction of the Bui Dam and operations of Newmont Ghana Gold, the region is gradually becoming a hot business center and it would need adequate media work to sell the region to the outside world.

Mr Appiah, who doubles as the webmaster said brongahafotoday.com would carry all the basic features of a website plus other interesting and unique features which would make the site one of the best for regional, national and global news.

And even before the site could be activated, there are reports that prospective clients have started lobbying for pages to sell their goods and services.
