New Postal Sector Policy in offing

Accra, Oct. 13, GNA – Government in collaboration with the Postal Sector Regulatory Commission and Decision Analysis Partners is developing a Postal Sector Policy to promote technological innovativeness.

A release issued in Accra and signed by Mr Isaac Bonful, Director of Post at Ministry of Communication, on Monday said the policy would help guide and regulate the development, growth, and contribution of the sector to the nation’s economy over the next 15 years. According to the release the policy would also facilitate effective consumer requirement for quality service delivery. It said for government to achieve the policy goal, the ministry was ready to tap expertise from the private and public sectors, civil society, academia and consumers to obtain input to shape the policy direction.
