New Musama Disco Christo Church head inducted into office

Gomoa Mozano (C/R), Jan. 30, GNA – The new head of the Musama Disco Christo Church (MDCC), Akaboha Mokena Jeeba Fifie Jehu-Appiah IV, has promised to work closely with all members towards promoting the Church and the spreading the gospel to win many souls.

Speaking at a special church service after his induction at the headquarters of the Church at Gomoa Mozano, Akaboha Jehu-Appiah said his doors were “open for constructive criticisms and good suggestions that would help the church to grow, win more souls for Christ and contribute towards the socio-economic development of the country”

Akaboha IV, known in private life as Mr Mokena Jeeba Fifie Jehu-Appiah, an educationist, succeeded Akaboha III, who was removed from office after an Agona Swedru high court has ruled that he was not the rightful person to succeed the late Akaboha II. He emphasized that since the Church was a Christian movement “we should give peace a chance, remain united and work together for the mission of Christ to be accomplished” for salvation. Head Prophet Ankomah and Senior Pastor Addai, who took the new Akaboha through a series of rites before his induction, urged him to always consult the church hierarchy on all issues to ensure peace and harmony among members. 30 Jan. 08
