New Mankrado for Ajumako Kromaim installed

Ajumako Kromaim (C/R), Oct 29, GNA – A thirty-three-year-

old Kumasi-based private buinessman, Mr Daniel Kofi Ampong, has

been installed the new Mankrado for Kramaim in the Ajumako-

Enyan-Esiam District of the Central Region. He succeeded his late great uncle Nana Kwame Egyeku XI who

died a year ago, and his stool name is Nana Akyamfo XII. The new Mankrado later swore the oath of allegiance to the chief

of Kromaim, Nana Kwaw Preiku the XI, the Oman and the Kyirem

Asafo Company led by Tufuhen Essuman V. In an interview with the GNA, Nana Akyamfo mentioned

education, health and sanitation as his topmost areas of concern. On education, the new chief explained that he would team up

with the authorities concerned to ensure the establishment of a post

secondary-tertiary institution to take care of products from the three

Senior High Schools at Bisease, Denkyira and Mando, and to

prepare them for university education. Ebuasuapanyin John Kobena Nyarko, aged 72, said large tracks

of land for agricultural purposes were available and called on

investors from far and near to invest in the area to create

employment for the youth.
