New Kyidomhene of Asankare installed

Asankare (Ash), Feb 04, GNA – A 33-year-old broadcast journalist has been installed the new Kyidomhene of the Asankare Traditional Area in the Asante-Akim North District under the stool name Nana Ofori Amanfo Diatuo I.

Known in private life as Jones Emmanuel Ofori Amanfo, he is the first occupant of the stool.

Swearing the oath of allegiance to Okoforobour Kwakye Dipoah III, Omanhene of Asankare, Nana Amanfo pledged his loyalty and commitment to the chiefs and people of Asankare.

He promised to team up with the other sub-chiefs to promote the development of the town and called on the people to bury their differences and unite to ensure speedy development. Nana Kwakye Dipoah urged Nana Amanfo to bring his youthful exuberance to bear on the community by fostering unity among the youth since the development of the town to a large extent depended on the youth.
