New Executives for Atwima-Mponua NPP elected

Nyinahin (Ash), Oct 07, GNA – The Atwima-Mponua constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) returned Mr Asare Baffour, the incumbent constituency chairman of the party, unopposed at the party’s elections held recently at Nyinahin.

The other executive members who were returned unopposed were Mr Barimah Ayaakwa Bekoe, the First Vice Chairman, Madam Mary Serwah Akoto, Women’s Organizer, Mr Charles Amponsah, Youth Organiser, Nana Yaw Owusu, Treasurer and Mr Kwame Owusu, Assistant Secretary.

Mr Rockson Adjei-Mensah, the incumbent constituency Secretary however lost his position to Mr Akwasi Sarfo-Adjei. Mr Sarfo-Adjei polled 103 votes while Mr Adjei-Mensah got 30 votes. Following the failure of the Second Vice Chairman and Organizer to contest, Mr Joseph Boateng, who was the sole candidate, took the position while the position of Organiser also went unchallenged to Mr. Charles Dumfour.
