New equipment for Battor Hospital

Accra, Sept. 25, GNA – New equipment worth 120 million cedis and an amount of 60 million cedis from the Tongu Union Development Association in Toronto, Canada would be presented to the Battor Government Hospital, to help improve health delivery at the facility. Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh, Chief Executive Officer of Bahmed Travel and Tours, would be make the presentation on behalf of the Association, on Tuesday.

In a statement he made available to the GNA from the Chairman of the Association in Toronto, Nicholas Adetie, he called on Battors to forge a united front to improve health delivery in the area through similar donations.

He said future contribution from the Association to promote the welfare of the people would depend on the judicious use of the equipment and the money donated.
