New Chief for Asuboa installed

Akim Asuboa(E/R), Feb. 02, GNA – Mr Kwaku Anim a 33-year-old businessman, has been installed Chief of Akim Asuboa in the Birim South District under the stool name, Nana Anim Darkwah II.

Swearing the oath of allegiance to the Acting Krontihene of Akim Kotoku Traditional Area, Nana Dwamena Akenteng II, on Wednesday, Nana Darkwa promised to seek assistance from non-governmental organisations (NGOs) for the development of the town.

He called for unity among the people and reminded them of the negative effects of petty squabbles.

Nana Akenteng commended the people for the peaceful manner Nana Darkwah was installed and advised him to promote unity among his elders and the people as a pre-requisite for development. He advised the communities to re-kindle their communal spirit and initiate more self-help projects that could be assisted by the Government.
