Nyinahin (Ash), Aug 22, GNA- Mr Paul Abora Boateng, Chief Manager in-charge of the Materials Department of Ghana Post, has been enstooled as the new chief of Nyinahin in Ashanti under the stool name of Nana Amampene Boateng Twum II.
Nana Twum, 46, will swear an oath of allegiance to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace next week. The chief told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Nyinahin that he will work for peace in the town now that the chieftaincy dispute has been settled.
He advised all his supporters and those of the other contestants to forgive and forget the past to enable peace to prevail in the town and set the stage for developments.
