New Brazilian Ambassador arrives

Accra, Aug. 3, GNA – Mr Louis Fernano de Andradi Serra, Brazilian Ambassador designate to Ghana arrived in Accra on Thursday to assume duty.

Speaking to newsmen on arrival, Mr Serra pledged to improve on relations between the two countries. “I hope to double the volume of trade between Ghana and Brazil during my tenure of office, ” he added.

He said with imports from Brazil amounting to 218 million dollars yearly Ghana was an important trade partner.

Mr Serra noted that with the good relationship between both countries, his vision would be to further deepen it, especially in trade.

He is a career diplomat married with three children and has served in Germany, Russia, Chile, Niger, France and the Vatican.
