President Kufuor has appointed new boards for GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited and the Ghana Export Promotions Council. The new chairman for GIHOC Distilleries is Mr. Osei Banahene. Members of the board include Mr. Daniel Bartels-Kodwo, the acting Managing Director, Mr. Adjei Mensah, the former General Manager, Joyce Thompson, a business woman, Mr. Sammy Tsahey, a chartered accountant and Mr. Darko Mensah, MP for Okwaikwei North.
The Ghana Export Promotions Council has the Managing Director of Prudential Bank, Stephen Abankwa as Chairman. Members include Edward Boateng, a financial consultant, Prof. Mike Ocquaye, lecturer at the University of Ghana, Alex Brakus, a businessman and Nana Asante Frimpong.
