Nduom chairs Ghanafest 2016 in USA

The annual Ghanafest held in the United States of America (USA) scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2016, will be chaired by the president and chairman of Groupe Nduom, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom.

Ghanafest brings together the Ghanaian community in Chicago and elsewhere in the United States to celebrate indigenous Ghanaian culture and heritage.

A press release issued on July 28 by the Corporate Affairs Manager of Groupe Nduom, Richmond D. Keelson, stated: “Dr Nduom will be the special guest at a dinner organised by the Ghana National Council for Business People and Professionals during the event. He will take the opportunity to present Groupe Nduom investments and Ghanaian investment opportunities to the audience.”

Events lined up for this year’s Ghanafest include a colourful durbar of Ghanaian chiefs, ethnic communities, display of traditional food and drinks. Several disc jockeys (DJs) from different parts of the world, who will be at the programme, will play traditional Ghanaian songs in addition to other kinds of music from the country during the pre- and post-Ghanafest parties to be held across the city of Chicago.

Dr Nduom is expected to be accompanied on the trip by some management personnel of Groupe Nduom including Mr Kwame Ofori Asomaning, the Managing Director of Ghana Growth Fund; Mr Issa Adam, the Managing Director of GN Bank; and Mr Fiifi Simpson, the Chief Executive Officer of GN Life Assurance.

The rest are Nana Dufu, the Managing Director of Qualtek Company Limited, a technology company; Mr Benjamin Ansah, the General Manager for Network Systems; and Mrs Hilda Malm, the Diaspora Account Manager of GN Bank.
