They were all returned unopposed in an election supervised by the Tamale Metropolitan Director of the Electoral Commission (EC), Mr Andani Issah.

The Regional Chairman said the NDP was in for serious business and would make a strong showing in the coming presidential and parliamentary elections.

He asked the members and supporters to remain loyal and accept to make the needed sacrifices to assure the party of electoral victory.

Alhaji Mohammed Frempong, the General Secretary, said when voted into power, it would provide the right leadership to restore hope to the people and transform their socio-economic situation.

He called on voters not to allow themselves to be deceived and vote out the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), which he said, was absorbed in corruption.

The NDP is almost finished with the election of its regional officers across the country and preparing to go to congress to elect the national leadership and presidential candidate.
