NDC’s promise of one-time NHIS Premium was unrealistic – Fiifi Kwetey

Minister of State in charge of Financial and Allied Institutions Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey says the one-time premium promised by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2008 electioneering campaign was “unrealistic”.

He also cited the Free Senior High School (SHS) promise of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the campaign period to the 2012 elections was “unrealistic”.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu South Constituency was speaking on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at an economic forum organized by the Economic Justice Forum in collaboration with Third World Network.

He insisted that electorate should vote against candidates who make such promises.
