NDC’s campaign team will be announced soon – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama, who is the leader of the NDC, has hinted that – his campaign team will be announced soon ahead of the November 7, elections.

In an interview with Accra-based TV3 morning show ‘NewDay’, President Mahama noted that – “the campaign team is being formed, it will be announced soon.”

The President, however, refused to tell the public what his campaign message will be for this year’s election – “Our campaign manifesto is being worked on, and I wouldn’t want to preempt what they [the party] are going to come out with.”

“The campaign this year is going to try and showcase to the Ghanaian people what we’ve being doing and how we can continue to build on what we’ve being doing. So it is going to be an evidence based campaign. We are going to showcase the effects of the socioeconomic transformation that we have been undertaking has been on the lives of the people and if giving the opportunity for another four years, how we are going to make that even more significant in their lives,” President John Mahama said.
