NDC youth to protest NPP gov’t’s “lawlessness”

The National Democratic Congress(NDC) Youth Wing has scheduled Friday, February 24, for a peace march, in protest of the ruling party’s culture of lawlessness introduced since it assumed power last month.

A Police Notice by the main opposition NDC youth sighted by Kasapafmonline.com on the impending mass walk said the youth will take to some major streets of the capital on the said date, to draw attention of the general public and the International Community of the “culture of intimidation, fear mongering and the general harassment , dismissals and seizure of private properties of NDC officials and members”

The opposition NDC has said it is appalled by the “recklessness, disorder, and chaos” being perpetrated by the ruling government in the country urging Ghanaians to stand against it.

According to them, the country’s democracy was being undermined by the mere change in government following the massive harassment of NDC officials, and invasion of private properties by the government.
