NDC Women To Hit The Streets

A highly placed source at the office of the former president, Flt. Lt. John Jerry Rawlings has disclosed that the women?s wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would pour onto the streets of Accra within the next couple of weeks.

Their purpose is to put pressure on the Kufuor government to provide, with immediate effect, the lie detector demanded by ex-President Rawlings to enable him to come out with the 15 names of the alleged cabinet ministers involved in the serial murders of women in Accra and Kumasi between 1996 and 2000.

The source who spoke to ?The Weekend Heritage? shortly after Rawlings had granted audience to the press following the demonstration of some ?Concerned Women? to force him to release the names of the alleged murders, added that the ?former President is a man of integrity and would not say anything which he cannot substantiate?.

?The day the ex-President will come out with the names of the murderers, it will be a bombshell, it will shake the whole nation more than the atomic bomb?, the source emphasized.
