NDC will still lose 2016 even if they change leaders

“In spite of the changes that the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is making to bring in more people in the party, I can assure you that they will still lose the 2016 general elections,” Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover has said.

The Member of Parliament for Tema East believes that inasmuch as the NDC is gearing up for the upcoming congress in Kumasi, the people elected into various positions are not competent enough to push the party to victory in the 2016 elections.

The NDC congress, which is to elect new national executives to manage the affairs of the party for the next four years, will take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 20.

The congress will see delegates of the ruling party from the length and breadth of the country trooping to Kumasi to elect their new leaders.

But Hon. Titus-Glover noted on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem on Monday that “NDC will lose the 2016 elections even if they bring ‘competent’ delegates from all the ten regions. The party is cracked, the party is divided because the President himself has his choice, Ex-President Rawlings also has his choice and so their fate cannot be decided yet,” he noted.

According to him, any development that will emerge in the congress will affect Ghanaians in the near future, whether negatively or positively.
