NDC will be hard for NPP to crack- Jake admits

National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has told delegates of the party that regardless of the disunity and massive corruption which has characterized the NDC administration, the party would still not be easy for the NPP to beat in the December elections.

Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey was emphatic that the National Democratic Congress would be the only stumbling block that could curtail the aspirations of the NPP, and therefore, urged party faithful to adopt the ‘all hands on deck approach’ to execute the party’s agenda.

Chairman Obetsebi-Lamptey said this when he addressed delegates of the party at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre, on Saturday in Accra, where the party officially launched its 2012 Manifesto.

“There is hope for Ghana” was the theme for the conference.

Executives and sympathizers of the party are expected to converge at Mantse Agbona, James Town in Accra later in the day, to formally launch its campaign for the elections.

He further advised supporters to eschew complacency and unnecessary attacks from political opponents and concentrate on disseminating the efficient polices the party turn to implement, if elected into office in December.

“The security of Ghana’s future, their children and their children’s children depend on the NPP winning the elections and transforming the nation. So it is important that we desist from all manner of complacency and work tirelessly to salvage Ghanaians from this hopelessness,” Mr. Obetsebi-Lamptey asserted.

Consequently, the chairman called on electorates not to renew the mandate of the NDC and vote massively for the NPP to restore hope of the suffering masses.
