The women’s organisation of the NDC UK & Ireland Chapter wish to declare our full support to His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills as the Party’s flagbearer and presidential candidate for the 2012 general lections.
We note that despite the fact that the NDC Administration inherited a near bankrupt economy, President Mills and his administration over the past two and half years have worked hard to improve the social and economic well being of all Ghanaians.
We note with some interest the numerous developmental projects being undertaken by the President Mills and his administration and would like to endorse the candidature of President Mills as flagbearer at the forthcoming National Congress in order to continue his good work under the Better Ghana Agenda programme.
We are also of the view that the NDC Government under President Mills needs unity and continuity to deliver its manifesto promises and therefore call on Party faithfuls, including Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings to bury all differences and to unite behind the President in order to fulfil the NDC Government’s electoral promises to the people of Ghana.
We hope our comrades will take our stand in good faith.
