The NDC UK & Ireland Chapter takes the opportunity to join hands with all Ghanaians to congratulate our gallant national soccer team, the Black Stars and the entire management for their impressive performance against the Egyptian football team yesterday. The National Soccer team demonstrated a real talent and a high sense of patriotism and unity of purpose to demolish the once mighty Egyptian football team.
There is no doubt in our minds that the outstanding performance of the national soccer team was as a result of their genuine love for our motherland.
The Chapter wishes to acknowledge the timely personal intervention of His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama in raising the moral of the national soccer team through the motivational packages and bonuses which yielded this significant results for the nation.
We, therefore, express our heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, the President and his government for providing the necessary logistics to bring joy to the faces of all Ghanaians yesterday.
We do hope the Black Stars keep up the spirit and continue to raise high the flag of Ghana in subsequent games.
