The NDC UK & Ireland Chapter would like to take the opportunity to congratulate His Excellency, former President Jerry John Rawlings for receiving a Honorary Doctorate Degree award bestowed on him by the University for Development Studies (UDS).
We note with much delight ex- President Rawlings’ personal commitment towards the establishment of the UDS as a tertiary educational institution in the Northern Ghana. We also note of his personal contribution of $50,000 of his cash award from the Hunger Project to initiate this all important project to train graduates and future leaders in the country.
His Excellency’s selfless, dedicated and immense contribution towards education during his term of office is well noted and very much appreciated, we salute you !!!!!!!!!!
On behalf of the NDC UK Chapter members, we say Bravo! We are proud of Mr Rawlings and would like to wish him well as he celebrates this well deserved award.
