NDC supporters urged to take ongoing registration exercise seriously

Gomoa West District Chief Executive, Mr Theophilus Aidoo-Mensah, has called on the supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to take the ongoing biometric voters’ registration exercise very seriously and ensure that they register.

He said the party’s chances of retaining power depended on the number of its supporters who registered.

“You cannot call yourself a supporter of NDC if you do not have voting power,” he said and advised them to organize their relatives and friends to register.

Mr Aidoo-Mensah was addressing Bomboa branch of the party at Apam at the weekend.

He appealed to the supporters to make education their topmost priority and appealed to parents to ensure that their children get educated.

Nana Kwame Arhin, Gomoa West Constituency Chairman of the NDC, appealed to the youth to build their capacity since they would eventually take over the administration of the country.

He urged them to refrain from drugs and other social vices and to desist from insulting their opponents as insults did not bring in votes.**
