NDC supporters urged to check their demands

Keta (V/R), Sept. 20, GNA – National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters have been urged to exercise caution with their demands on government in order not to give propaganda advantage to its opponents.

Mr Sylvester Tornyeava, Keta Municipal Chief Executive, said this after inspecting a 50 million dollar Atorkor-Anyanui sea defence work project in the area.

He said with 24 communities in the area hooked to the national electricity grid, 32 education projects, 23 resettlement housing projects and 20 water projects, the government’s performance in the Keta Municipal Area was nothing but unprecedented.

He said there were about 80 on-going and completed projects in the area and these include six-unit classroom blocks and ancillaries at Anlo-Afiadenyigba, Kedzi, Agorve-Agume, Atorkor and Vodza where a 15 unit classroom block complex with a clinic and teachers quarters was in progress.

He said a 500 capacity dormitory blocks were each being built for the Awomefia Senior High School at Anyako and the Atiavi Secondary/Technical school.

Mr Tonyeava said the Havedzi-Metrikasa road has been slated to be tackled in addition to the Abor-Anyako-Seva road
