NDC supporters Kranka call for help

Kranka (B/A), May 2, GNA – Mr Kwasi Baffoe-Satchimo, Secretary of Kranka Zonal Area of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Nkoranza North has called on the leadership of the party to visit members in the hinterland to share ideas and support them, so as to encourage them to remain faithful to the party.

Mr Baffoe-Satchimo told Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Kranka that, such visits would enable the leaders to know the strength of the party in the constituencies.

He expressed concern about how the leaders ignored the members after elections and would not visit them to know their problems and challenges problems, saying, the people had gained a lot of experience in politics and could no longer be taken for a ride. The party secretary announced that the zonal executive members of the party had started registering members of the party in the constituency to know their population in the Nkoranza North constituency.

Mr Baffoe-Satchimo complained that the youth were facing economic hardship, as they were not getting any financial assistance and called on the leadership of the party to support them. He noted that such assistance would rekindle their spirit to remain committed and rally firmly behind the party and to vote for it during the 2008 general elections.

Mr Baffoe-Satchimo advised NDC members in the area to stand firm and never to allow themselves to be deceived by other political parties to join them.
