The great hypocrisy of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lays exposed again! It is currently sharing dozens of brand new cars to journalists and social commentators affiliated to the party when it vociferously attacked the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for allegedly doing the same!
Interestingly and hypocritically, the beneficiaries of the car sharing are the same media men and commentators who have been going on radio to accuse the erstwhile New Patriotic Party (NPP) of giving money and favours to journalists.
So if you see shiny new Hyundai ‘1’ class zipping around on our streets, take a careful look inside, because you might be looking at one of the ‘brave’ fire spitting journalists and serial callers responsible for doing the hatchet job of the NDC! So far the Daily Searchlight newspaper can reveal that the cars are being routed to the NDC journalists and serial callers through the Medium and Small Loans Scheme Centre (MASLOC) as ‘loans’ to be paid back over a period.
Mr. Mustapha, the Public Relations Officer of MASLOC, claimed that the offer of the vehicles on loan was open to everybody and not only pro-NDC journalists and commentators. So far many of the journalists and commentators have abandoned the ‘Russian Tankers’ they were driving around in the desperate days of opposition politics and are cruising around in air-conditioned comfort.
