NDC risks losing 2016 if – Abodakpi

The ruling national democratic congress (NDC) risk losing the 2016 elections should the delegates of the party vote for members of the current leadership, saying they have all failed to keep the party’s hope alive, this is according to Mr. Dan Abodakpi.

Ambassador Dan Abodakpi who is seeking to lead the NDC in 2016 accused the leadership of Dr. kwabena Adjei of failing to inspire hope at the grassroots level immediately after the 2012 presidential and parliamentary elections were over.

He said despondency at the grassroots, lack of motivation, and total disconnect from the rank and file of the party had led to the near collapse of the NDC at the grassroots level.

” the above are the failures and legacies of the current leadership of the party”. They Themselves are going round tranpenting their weakness but I tell you what it would be a disaster for the delegates to repose their confidence in Dr. kwabena Adjei at the party’s next super delegates congress in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

Speaking to radio gold’s Coffie Emmanuel immediately after he submitted his nomination forms validating him to contest the chairmanship position of the NDC the former trade minister Dan Abodakpi suggested that if the Kwabena Adjei led executives were not voted out and new ones brought onboard to lead the party, then the tasked ahead in winning the next elections would be disastrous for the party at the next elections.

To add salt to injury the former ambassador to Malaysia questioned why the party members who manned the polls at the just ended voter registration exercise have not been paid? Citing clear signs of indiscretion on the part of Dr. Kwabena Adjei.

If the status quo does not change then am afraid for the chances of the NDC been retained. The people at the grassroots level under the current leadership are not motivated and would never be motivated to lead the party into victory in 2016 should Dr. Kwabena Adjei be retained as party chairman at the next congress
