NDC Rhode Island congratulates Mahama

PROVIDENCE, RI, USA – On behalf of the Chairwoman, Ms. Sowah,

and all members of the NDC branch in Rhode Island, USA, I wish to congratulate

President John Mahama on being affirmed by the Supreme Court as the

legitimately elected President of Ghana.

NDC members and supporters in Rhode Island have always

believed that Ghanaians made the wise choice by electing President Mahama. NDC

Rhode Island members are very delighted

about the outcome of the petition, and applaud the resilience of the Ghanaian

people and institutions for keeping the peace for the last 8 months, and

ultimately showcasing democracy to the World, Africa, and ourselves. Make no

mistake; our actions have implications

beyond our borders.

The President’s cause is our cause. And hence, NDC Rhode

Island supports and shares his views on the ‘Better Ghana Agenda.’ We are

interested in being an asset by bringing ‘Ghana’ to Rhode Island and vice versa

through job creating, scholastic research, cross-cultural communication, etc. Rhode

Island universities have already made

major advances in partnering with their counterparts in Ghana through major

researches, and we hope this relationship continues to flourish.

We look forward to promoting President Mahama’s cause in

Rhode Island and in Ghana. May God bless NDC Rhode Island, may God bless NDC

Ghana, may God bless the people of Ghana, and may God bless Ghana.
