NDC retains Ada Seat

Ada (G/A), Dec. 8, GNA -The National Democratic Congress (NDC) retained the Ada Parliamentary Seat when its candidate, Mr Alex Tetteh-Enyo, polled a total of 15,039 votes out of a total number of 19,918 votes cast.

Mr Tetteh-Enyo, a Former Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, polled the highest number of votes in all the 64 polling stations within the Constituency, to win the seat. Mr Kabutey Caesar of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) secured 3,787 votes to place second.

The People’s National Convention (PNC) candidate, Mr Richard Ofotsu Apronti polled 1,092 votes to place third.

The results in the Presidential Race were as follows: Dr Mahama (PNC) 98 President Kufuor (NPP) 3,721 Prof Mills (NDC) 15,250 Mr Aggudey (CPP) 632
