NDC Primaries: I will beat John Mahama hands down – Namoale

Former La Dadekotopon Member of Parliament (MP), Nii Amassah Namoale has called on former President John Dramani Mahama to consider rescinding his decision to contest the 2020 polls since he would not win the party’s primaries.

Nii Amasah Namoale said he has already laced his boots and would beat ‘anyone who dare contest’ him in the next primaries of the party.

“I will beat anyone who would contest me including John Mahama…,” he said on Peace FM’s Programme, Kokrokoo.

The former Legislator in January 2017 declared his readiness to lead the party into the 2020 elections.

Namoale, however, stated that he would rescind his decision to contest for the presidency if Professor Joshua Alabi decides to contest to become the flagbearer of the NDC.

Namoale lost the La Dadekotopon seat in the December 2016 to former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Accra Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah Odotei.

He polled 38,504 votes as against the former football administrator’s 40,126 votes. Namoale is famous for his utterances on radio some of which are declared controversial.
