The reported Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service’s arrest of Nii Lante Vanderpuye, National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Odododiodoo Constituency, turned out to be a Triumphant parade for NDC.
After the Police had denied Nii Lante Vanderpuye his legal right for bail as requested by Dr. Josiah Aryeh, General Secretary of NDC. The police was ‘PRESSURED FROM ABOVE” in the name of Mr. Francis Poku National Security Advisor. to release Nii Lante Vanderpuye without delay.
Nii Lante Vanderpuye was release at 9:30 pm Saturday to the suprise of over 300 hundred supporters. His release then turn into a TRIUMPHANT parade from Labadi Police station to his constituency in Accra Central. A true victory for Democracy and Human Rights.
