NDC parliamentary aspirant says Mills is favoured to win

Nkoranza (B/A), Nov. 6, GNA – Mr. Kwaku Poku Boah, an aspiring Parliamentary candidate of National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Nkoranza South constituency, has said the party’s flag bearer, Professor John Atta Mills, was favoured to win next year’s general election. Launching his campaign towards the party’s primaries in the constituency slated for December 19, he urged members to stand firm and remain faithful to the party.

Mr. Boah, a lawyer, said he had devoted himself in all ways to serve the party and called on the delegates to give him the nod at the primaries so he could capture the constituency seat.

Mr. Peter Owusu Baffoe, constituency chairman, expressed appreciation for the peaceful and decent manner that the campaign teams of the three aspirants had carried their activities.

Mr. Thomas Owusu, constituency secretary, advised the delegates to listen to the manifestoes of the candidates and decide on the right aspirant who could lead the party to victory.

The two other aspiring candidates are Mr. James Opoku Worae, a teacher and Mr. Emmanuel K. Agyekum an economist studying in London.
