NDC opens nominations for National Executives Elections

Accra, Nov. 30, GNA – The National Democratic Congress (NDC) would hold its biennial delegates’ congress at Koforidua from December 21 to December 23 at which National Executives would be elected. A statement signed by Mr Bede Ziedeng, Acting General Secretary, said nominations would be opened from December 1 and close at 2100 hours on December 21 2005.

Nomination forms may be collected from the Party Headquarters in Accra.

Positions to be contested for are a Chairman; six Vice-Chairman; General Secretary; two Deputy General Secretaries; National Organiser and two Deputy National Organisers. The others are: National Treasurer; Deputy National Treasurer; National Propaganda Secretary; two Deputy Propaganda Secretaries and five National Executive Committee Members.
