Accra, Feb. 11, GNA – The National Democratic Congress, NDC on Monday said it had approved the opening of nominations at all constituencies with sitting Members of Parliament (MPs) starting from 18th February, 2008.
A statement signed by Baba Jamal, Deputy General Secretary of the NDC said the decision was taken by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party at a meeting on February 7, 2008. The statement called on any member interested in contesting on the ticket of the party to contact their respective constituency office for their nomination forms. “The final date of submission of the forms is Friday, 7th March 2008,” the statement added.
