NDC Old Guards congratulate Prez Mahama

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Old Guards Association has congratulated President John Dramani Mahama on his victory in the December 7, elections.

It also commended the other political parties and their flag-bearers for the civil manner in which they conducted themselves which accounted for the very successful outcome.

A press release signed by Oheneba Asamoah Atuahene, Chairman of the Association and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), called for calm on the political scene.

The Association renewed its pledge of support to President Mahama, the NDC leadership and the party.

It encouraged the party’s parliamentary candidates who lost their seats not to lose heart but continue to work for the party in various ways.
