NDC New Jersey Chapter Congratulatory Message

We wish to use this medium to congratulate His Excellency President-elect John Evans Atta-Mills and His Excellency vice president-elect John Dramani Mahama for leading our great party to victory. Your leadership has not only yielded a resounding victory for our party and Ghana, but has provided re-assurance to despondent Ghanaians that “help is on the way.” As we celebrate this historic victory let us not forget to dedicate it to our beloved founder His Excellency President JJ Rawlings , all executive members of our great party, members of our party, and all Ghanaians who supported the call for change that is inevitable.

We believe that as we enter the new dawn of change, there are a lot of challenges our nation face. We have rule of law to restore; hope of Ghanaians to rejuvenate; potentials of Ghanaians to harness; an economy to be put on right and an irreversible footing; national reconciliation to pursue; bridges to build so that for example, people of Sodom and Gomorra can cross to East Legon; and a bridge to build between north and south. With your unique brand of leadership we believe that you will deal with these challenges effectively. We further believe that our nation under your leadership will be free forever. So that peace and justice for all will prevail. Once again congratulation!!!!
